RAW Draft Picks - A+
Storyline Possibilities - B-
Talent Composition - A
Analysis: Ladies and gents, what we saw from this year's draft is a complete power shift. RAW has endless storyline possibilities, but the problem is that they have TOO MANY good superstars. Aside from Goldust, every one of RAW's 2010 draft picks is a former or future Heavyweight/Tag Team Champion. You only have so many championship titles. There is no way that every superstar on RAW's roster will be able to receive the push and promo time they deserve. They effectively turned Smackdown into a developmental show and have placed all of their eggs in 1 basket. This was a horrible move for the company, and ratings will not improve due to the increase in talent. No major headliners were lost by RAW. The purpose of the draft is to bring excitement to both brands. This was not accomplished and it will ultimately hurt the WWE in the long run.

Analysis: This was a horrible draft for Smackdown. Not only did they lose four of their major headliners, but they gained average talent in return. WWE appears to be turning Smackdown into a developmental brand. This is exciting for young stars like Cody Rhodes and Kofi Kingston. These two wrestlers should pair well with the likes of Dolph Zigler and Drew McIntyre. MVP may eventually become a contender for the Intercontinental Title. Christian should receive an immediate heavyweight title push and you can guarantee that this will spark a feud between Christian and CM Punk. Big Show, Kane, Chris Masters, and Finlay's futures are unknown. Expect to see Big Show receive a heavyweight title push at some point over the next year. Kane's future is cloudy and he likely will not receive any major pushes. Smackdown will rely on younger talent and the veterans like Christian and CM Punk to headline Smackdown matches for quite some time. Rey Mysterio and Undertaker will be taking time off soon and none of the draft picks can replace them. Don't be surprised if ratings drop for Smackdown and stay that way until the brand regains a clear direction. This was embarassing for Smackdown fans everywhere!
